Field services Engineer

Main Responsibilities

-Perform independently the troubleshooting procedures to diagnose the ultimate, proper and prompt way to solve the customer connectivity problem with MISP high   standards of services

-Independently view/check escalated tickets from ADSL/Enterprise Support team and takes the corrective action

-Independently view/check all network tasks escalated from front office/access /core teams and take the corrective action

-Handling TT/Tasks for all Enterprise services (Leased Line,3G,MW,WIFI,Etisalat Micro Sites) needed field action (fixing wiring, change devices, adjust configuration   at customer side

-Handling TT’s for ADSL Maintenance/Home visits (follow up with technicians till fix customer problem inside/outside TE central or send technician/IT to customer side   to fix wiring or adjust modem configuration

-Handling TT’s for all network management inside CO including alarms acceptance and prevented maintenance

-Decide the checking path sequence for Technician/IT (customer side, TE central office, others

-Contact and follow up with technicians/IT’s (according to case needs) in all TT/Tasks and ensure their proper and prompt handling of customer problem and   commitment to MISPs high standards service

-Update every TT/Task on TT system/DB by every action taken to ensure the accuracy of tickets status and the availability of the updated information when needed

-send daily report to the Service Supervisor for all handled TT’s/tasks

-Review and approve (after technicians/IT team leader) on the required form as per MISP’s policies and procedures for travel petty cash needed for the availability in

Qualifications Essential
University Degree in Telecommunication engineering.

3- 1 year Experience in ADSL and telecom field
