Enterprise Operations Back Office Engineer

  • Job details
    • To  manage, operate and control enterprise Services’ E2E solutions , internet, L2VPN, MPLS,VPLS , International VPN ,Video Streaming , MSAN, Honeypot, AVL tracking and WIFI to ensure compliance to performance targets (KPI´s) and overall customer satisfaction
    • Controlling and managing enterprise customer’s router access via customer’ TACACS server
    • To tracking enterprise customer’s management connections  and ensuring it is up and running
    • To manage and  control enterprise customer’s Backup Configuration Files
    • To Configure Video Surveillance  CAM (activation, modification, termination)
    • To professionally troubleshoot customer’s enterprise services complaints (internet, VPN, IVPN,WIFI, Video Surveillance) implemented over different media (Leased Line,PreWimax, Microwave and 3G)
    • To dispatch  FM for enterprise complaints that needed intervention and follow up with them until resolving the complaints
    • To communicate with Cisco TAC for cases that need their interventions
    • To adhere to established Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to achieve corporate targets
    • To indicate that the problem has been passed to problem management in case the failure/incident categorized as problem
    • To find  and implement a temp solution for enterprise customers that might be impacted by  any network congestion, partial outage or total outage
    • To assess and select which of  enterprise customers are eligible to apply temp solution based on the pre-defined criteria
    • To evaluating Change request, Planned Activities, that affect enterprise customers’ operation pre and post change implementation
    • Closing CRs with the vendors to ensure enterprise services is up and running
    • To run a monthly service review with our external partners and discuss mega deal service performance related issues
    • To run preventive maintenance for IVPN connections
    • Waiving memo Approval:
    • To review enterprise customers waiving memo
    • To review downtime reported

 

  • Essential Qualifications

 

  • B. Sc. in computer or Communications Engineering
  • At  least  2 years relevant experience in the telecommunication   industry
  • CCNA certified
  • MPLS , BGP and OSPF knowledge is must
  • Desirable Qualifications

                                                                                            

  • Quality Of Service is desirable
  • ITI is desirable

 

  • Experience Essential

 

  • Good Knowledge in Network elements
  • Good Knowledge in networking, routing , switching and WAN Technologies
  • Huawei Technology  (IP DSLAMs ,routers and switches)
  • WAN Technologies (FR, ATM and MPLS)

 

  • Experience Desirable

    • GPON
