E Shop Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Develop eCommerce strategy and innovative concepts/propositions to establish & grow Online shop as a new sales channel to meet aggressive online trends growth & the set organizational sales, revenue & gross-ads targets.
  • Develop Etisalat eCommerce Channel to be a marketplace competing with all Egyptian online marketplaces.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop, plan, and implement short and long-term eCommerce strategies along with main tactics that will help best execution for approved strategy.
  • Setting a budget, P&L and develop a financial plan that will maximize the resources and profitability.
  • Accurate Monitoring for the budget & maximizing the ROI that will cater for our KPIs
  • Make the best use of our existing customer base & create the need for the Purchase to maximize our revenues
  • Create the needed deals & allocating the budget to enhance the Gross adds inflow.
  • Manage & enhance the UI/UX of Etisalat Online shop including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Creating new installment programs as payment enabler on E-Shop (Direct, Banks and 3rd parties).
  • Managing base and stretching revenues/GAs through Partnership with 3rd party payments vendors and banks.
  • Run marketing campaigns for Etisalat Online Shop through the different online advertising channels.
  • Ensuring campaigns are implemented / tracked correctly and testing is conducted appropriately.
  • Monitor the competitors’ Market landscape (Social Media Websites/Portals/Online Shops) to be updated with all best practices locally & internationally.
  • Handling decision-making with Marcom & Social Media teams to launch online promotional advertisements & to organize their distribution through various channels, also manage SMS & Email based Marketing Campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and accuracy of the E-shop content on website and application.
  • Ensure the quality of description, content and display of the product portfolio on E-shop
  • Leveraging sales of current partners to get the proper upturn on our mutual benefit
  • Design, develop and deliver the best in class sales plans for existing & potential customers across Etisalat digital channels.
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability.
  • Prepare and share comprehensive benchmarking on industry, digital patterns, and consumer behavior.
  • Locate, explore & close potential business deals with our partners and 3rd party by analyzing market strategies, dynamics, deal requirements, financial impact, and return on investment.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's portfolio to competitors' portfolio.
  • Identify and fill product portfolio gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Obtains market share by working with cross-functional teams (Terminals, Sales, IT, Marcom, CC, Finance, Administration, etc…) to develop Online Shop plans/strategies.
  • Work closely with terminals GTM & operations teams to ensure quick time-to-market for new products and joint co-branded activities.
  • Apply strategic thinking, analytical insights & creativity to build and implement new Online Shop propositions on weekly basis.
  • Derive insights from analytics and sales figures, funnel analysis, drop-off, traffic patterns and bounce rates to define and mandate improvement actions required to optimize conversion in Etisalat Online Shop.
  • Translate research findings through verbal and written analysis, reports, and data visualizations; demonstrate the relationship between user behavior and business value.
  • Improve / enhance Etisalat online shop SEO, reach, visitors and carts success rate to maximize sales.
  • Contribute to the tailored roadmap, calling attention to areas of concern, customer frustration, and opportunities for the business.
  • Monitoring the deployment of individuals to ensure that they are contributing effectively from an outcome-based perspective.
  • Manage, coach, develop and motive Online Shop team.
  • Develop a pipe line of new partners for propositions and marketplace selling
  • Perform regular visits to partners to guarantee the closure of all deals and propositions in timely manner and best market price.
  • Develop, govern  and enhance Etisalat Online Shop fulfillment cycle / SLAs
  • Monitor closely the fulfilment of operations and raise flag/take actions when needed.

 

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • E-Commerce, Digital, Technical products
  • University Degree in Commerce / Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecom or E-Commerce
  • Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
  • Strong problem solving skills, we are looking for a leader who can work to understand the root of stakeholders questions before conducting an analysis, proactively anticipate reporting needs that will serve the business and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to plan all KPI’s and projects 1 year ahead subject to review and update each quarter based on the market needs and changes.
  • Monthly innovation is a must for the products design, content, engagement & promotions

 

Skills & Abilities:

Essential

  • (Area of experience) Telecommunication Industry, Market Communication.
  • Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS excel and Power point is a must. 
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Good negotiator with solid understanding of the merit behind win-win outcome.
  • High business sense and ownership.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • MBA is a plus
