Connectivity Presales Senior Specialist

2. JOB PURPOSE:

  • Owns the presales and offering activities for enterprise customers.
  • Managing the response to prospects and customers clarifications and questions (including RFIs) about connectivity solutions and services
  • Proposing innovative solutions based on Etisalat and its partners’ portfolio of offerings and products.
  • Design the solution architecture; business and technical proposal in cooperation with IT/Technical team, Ensuring the project delivers the agreed scope in the defined deadlines with the committed budget
  • Drive awareness sessions to sales teams to update them on offering updates, pitches, references, and case studies.
  • Builds business cases for solutions based on consolidated costs received from IT, Technical departments, and partner’s solution components contributing to the service value created.
  • Design and own the execution of supervised POCs, pilots’ plans during the presales phase.
  • Collect and manage customer requirements and objectives/challenges to be addressed.
  • Analyze solution components and source the technologies and services needed from internal (IT, Technical, Security departments) and external parties (partners).
  • Consolidate solution components from the abovementioned parties.
  • Submission of BOQs, business cases, and reference costing sheets.
  • Support Sales targets while ensuring profitability margins.
  • Ensures design quality (time/budget).
  • Provides Regular reports/Dashboards on presales pipeline and activities

5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:

  • Regular communication with:
    • Sales - Receive requests from Sales for presales activities and provide proposals
    • Enterprise Marketing team to provide market insights
    • Commercial delivery team with new services offers @ closing phase with customers
    • Align with Partnership team the need to involve partners in solutions and type of agreements needed as well as the scope of work for the consortium/cooperation
    • Technical and IT departments for technical scope and costing.

 

External:

  • Conduct, Attend, and manage customer meetings
  • Gather and lock customer requirements
  • Present Etisalat proposed solutions and portfolio
  • Negotiate project scope and phases
  • Demo solutions
  • Conduct meetings with vendors and partners to cater for customers’ needs and to enlarge Etisalat Connectivity solution portfolio

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bsc in engineering (in computer science or communication).
  • Advanced Presentation skills
  • Advanced Communication skills.
  • Advanced time management, analytical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Excellent proposal writing capabilities
  • Customers & results oriented
  • Team work sprit and working under deadlines 

 

Desirable

  • Presales experience
  • Public speaking mastery

 

Experience:

Essential

  • Strong Connectivity Background in cloud and digital transformation
  • English & Arabic  writing and speaking skills
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Connectivity field
