Agile Coach

Coaching Agile Tribe:

  • Form the decided Agile teams (squads) gradually
  • Help the organization to achieve its business KPIs by coaching IT & Business teams on how to reach this objective through the new working model. (Responsible for the cross functional team business & technical KPIs)

 

  • Introducing new business mind sets like MVPs (Minimum viable produces) and business value analysis.

 

  • Coaching IT team members how to deal with small business requirements by focusing on business value and overcome technical challenges by using the latest technologies made for fast and continuous delivery (DevOps tools).

 

  • Accountable for spreading Agile culture and mindset change to be genuinely follow Agile manifesto values and principles.
  • Accountable for new processes design for tribe related topics
  • Standardize the agile practices across squads
  • Insure right implementation for Agile concepts in user stories writing and backlog activities
  • Accountable for raising the productivity level by raising the agile maturity
  • Responsible for achieving the desired business outcome by teaching and helping business product owners how to use Agile to increase Value.
  • Monitor & report business value and Agile maturity to CXOs

 

Building and managing professional Scrum Masters capability:

  • Compose a team of professional scrum masters from internal and external hiring
  • Put the needed development plans and assure its progress and benefit
  • Train scrum masters in new knowledge areas
  • Continuous mentoring in Agile practices and all needed professional skills

Communication

  • Continuously communicate to CXOs to present Agile maturity progress as well as Agile ROI.
  • Cross and  intra- departmental teams coordination
  • Holds process retrospective mattings to continuously improve the end-to-end working model and clearly communicate the new model to all concerned stockholders.
  • Holds Agile ceremonies with scrum masters (Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, sprint review..)
  • Develop strong working relationship with all stakeholders: Business units, IT sub departments, and external organization.
  • Align and coordinate with IT PMO team for implementation of the assessed projects
  • Demonstrate ROI of solutions & explain the need for new expansions in terms of cost, business value.

Strategy assurance

  • Collaborate with IT Demand & Delivery senior managers & head to manage and set strategic objectives in working model & Agile environment
  • Collaborate with business teams in creating new strategy in terms of Digital products needs and support company strategy
  • Analyze company roadmap and provide needed enablers

Managerial tasks

  • Manage the cross functional team to achieve the business & Technical KPIs by driving the new working model and way of thinking.
  • Conduct C-Level trainings and workshops
  • Moderate Agile forums across the organization.
  • Represents Agile transformation program in external forums
  • Driving consciences on all managerial levels towards business benefit
  • Agile Maturity matrix development and reporting and Business value reporting
  • Facilitate the right reporting way/tools for Agile teams

Process Improvements

  • Responsible for process continuous improvement inside Tribe and suggest lean processes for other supporting departments.
  • Continuous retrospective exercise for the whole working model and accountability for applying and measuring the new changes

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience

University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology (8+ years’ Experience)

  • Has Growth mindset
  • Strong Agile knowledge and practice track record in Scrum, Kanban & XP
  • Strong knowledge in Agile scalability models & practices (SAFe, Less, Spotify)
  • Experienced as a Scrum Master
  • Experienced as Agile product owner
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (Negotiation, communications, presentation, etc...)
  • Excellent command of English language (Reading, Writing & Oral)
  • Excellent Digital knowledge
  • Excellent Knowledge of current trends in IT, computer hardware and software capabilities.
  • Very Good knowledge in DevOps tools & strategies,
  • Very good knowledge in Testing (manual, automated and Testing tools)
  • Good Telecommunication knowledge

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Cross functional experience/exposure (IT, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Finance, HR etc.),
